Before moving overseas from Canada, I'd not yet had the privilege of taking on a renovation project that dates back nearly as far as this one. Constructed in the early 1890s in one of Stockholm's most prominent neighbourhoods, my clients' flat desperately needed a complete overhaul.

Rethinking the existing, dated layout, we moved the kitchen from a tiny, enclosed room near the main entry to a much larger space adjacent to the living room. Both rooms take full advantage of the classically arched windows, soaring ceilings, and natural morning daylight.
