Located in the heart of Toronto's downtown core, Karma sits adjacent to a Heritage site dating back over 150 years. Extraordinary measures were taken to protect and restore one of downtown Toronto’s last remaining structures of its time. The aged brick of the John Irwin House remains exposed and visible from the lobby of this new 52-storey residential structure juxtaposing its minimal, contemporary aesthetic.

Collaborating with Architects Alliance and Lifetime Developments, Cecconi Simone executed the interior architecture in its entirety. I held a key role in developing the project from start to finish through conceptualisation, space planning, finishes selection, design development, construction details and complete AutoCAD drawing packages.
